EAT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH LIKE YOU MEAN IT

Too often (women especially) have a tiny break or a very lean lunch and wonder why they get ravenous by 3pm. This can end up making you so hungry that you end up eating from 3pm until you go to bed.

DITCH THE SUGAR

You would be surprised to see where sugar is hiding. It’s very important to read food labels, and if possible avoid packaged food all together.

ALWAYS PUT FAT ON YOUR VEGGIES

Adding fat like butter or oil or avocado to your salad or steamed veg will allow your body to absorb the fat soluble vitamins a,d,e and k. If you don’t absorb nutrients, you will become nutritionally deficient which will present itself as cravings and lead to overeating.

CUT BACK ON COFFEE AND CAFFEINE

Caffeine robs your body of calcium and iron. Plus, it triggers a stress response in the body which will actually activate the storing of fat.

BE ORGANISED WITH YOUR FOOD/EATING/COOKING

Not making meals a priority means you won’t get results. If you’re serious about getting healthy, losing weight and keeping it off you have to be organised and make time to NOURISH yourself.
